Sure, depending on what you're comparing it to. :-)

While I'm a big fan of ocaml, and would love to find a project on which
to use it (sigh), I suspect it would be a big leap of faith to use ocaml
as an implementation backend for jonas.  Other than language mapping
problems (.java and .class/.jar), there is a matter of the runtime system
including libraries.  I expect this would be an enjoyable research project,
but not something one should expect to deploy practically any time soon.
