Note that most sessions are not very technical (the level is quite low). Also, keywords rock (make a broad use of standard J2EE acronyms - talk of JMS rather than MOM or asynchronous messaging, for example, at least in the headlines) . Some "hot" subjects like open-source also can help, and industrial success stories are very welcome... The J1 is definitely a business event.
