We
would like to make a proposal for a talk related to JORAM as a
distributed entreprise information backbone. Does that fit with the Java
One orientations ?
Certainly.
But anyone wishing to
propose a paper should have a look at http://servlet.java.sun.com/javaone/sf2003/home/index.en.jsp. You
will find there last year's sessions (even the slides can be viewed, simply
register in the java developer connection).
It can be very helpful to
determine what has a chance to be selected or not - I mean, how to express
your message. Look at sessions about similar subjects.
Note that most
sessions are not very technical (the level is quite low). Also, keywords rock
(make a broad use of standard J2EE acronyms - talk of JMS rather than MOM or
asynchronous messaging, for example, at least in the headlines) .
Some
"hot" subjects like open-source also can help, and industrial success stories
are very welcome... The J1 is definitely a business event.
And if your
session is really technical, flag it "Advanced" (not "intermediate" nor
"introductory"), the average level being so
low...
