Call for Papers

Today, what has traditionally been known as enterprise application
integration (EAI) is taking on new gravity as well as a new meaning within
corporate organizations. Experts continue to predict that over the near
term, most of the growth in IT spending will come from EAI projects. As a
result, the First Annual Global EAI Summit sits at a crossroads. On the one
hand, there is a risk that an increasing share of the technology spending
pie will lead to the kind of indiscriminant frenzy experienced by the
earlier e-commerce era. On the other hand, there is finally the opportunity
for EAI project sponsors to "get it right" by following carefully defined
best practices.

Addressing these challenges means researchers and practitioners need to
define and validate "best practice" techniques and patterns for internal and
B-to-B middleware frameworks, multi-level distributed architectures,
business process management requirements, business value realization
measurement techniques and successfully planning, designing and managing EAI
projects. The EAI Industry Consortium is seeking innovative and insightful
leaders in the integration business to present papers that focus on
improving integration best practices and strengthening standards that help
the industry achieve a higher degree of maturity and application
interoperability.
