Information about JPox

Hi everybody,

I guess that some of you have heard of JPox (http://www.jpox.org/).
Have anyone been in touch with the folks who run this project ? Did you 
investigate to know why they are working on reinventing the wheel, by 
developping an Open Source implementation of JDO, whereas Speedo already is 
one ?
