Date: Wed, 09 Feb 2005 16:44:49 +0100 Subject: Open Source Architecture for A to A/b to B Integration Author: Jack Haynes Message: http://www.objectweb.org/phorum/read.php?f=17&i=13&t=13&admview=1 Currently we have a middleware product that provides real-time access to CICS mainframe based banking systems and a Sybase database for all our banking delivery channels. It uses a simple request/reply structure where the request is either http/xml or soap xml then the reply is transformed on our middleware to either MQ for mainframe or ODBC for Sybase calls. It processes 1/2 million requests a day and is high availability. We also have a smaller PHP application that providees some simple TCP connectivity with a 3rd party for check reorder registration. We want to replace the middleware, so what combination of Open Source Middleware would you suggest for the replacement solution.
