A prototype is under construction in Sardes project to show that the two 
technos are compatible and complementary: JOnAS services are built as 
Fractal components and packaged as OSGi bundles.  We aim to show that we 
can take advantage of the Fractal component-model to enhance the 
configurability, flexibility and distribution of JOnAS and at the same 
time, of OSGi features for the packaging and deployment.

Regular meetings are currently taking place in Bull in the context of 
JOnAS5 construction.
