The next ObjectWeb architecture meeting will be common with the european ITEA OSMOSE project meeting. This event will be held in Sevilla, Spain on January 13-14-15. ObjectWeb is soliciting proposals for workshops for this meeting. Prospective organizers are requested to follow the guidelines below in submitting a proposal by the submission date, december 15 2003. ObjectWeb Architecture Workshops goals and format ------------------------------------------------- Workshops provide a forum for small groups of participants to exchange opinions, advance ideas, and discuss preliminary results on focused research topics. Workshops should focus on fostering discussion and must not be presentation only; the major portion of the time should be devoted to discussion. Workshops will normally be a half-day event. The workshop results will be presented the following day of the architecture meeting.Proposals should be submitted to the college mailing list (college at objectweb.org). The proposal consists of:
- a workshop title - a description of the workshop topic and goals - plans to document the workshop results - full contact information for the principal organizer Suggested topics include, but are not limited to: - container, - transactions, - deployment, - system management, - mobility, ... Please concentrate on the structure of your workshop and expected outcomes, but not just describing aims and intentions.
