FW: [celtix] Intergrating Celtix ESB with JBoss or Tomcat

Hi Richard,

Did you look at the attached paper which explains how Celtix can be
integrated with activeBPEL.

Kind regards,

We also want to use BPMS/BPEL (we selected Intalio) but we can't see how this
will integrate with Celtix.

I believe that the BPMS only support WS based transports and bindings defined
in the WSDL, any custom Celtix bindings and transports are not recognised by
the BPMS system because it is not build using Celtix.

The only solution to this that I can see is that the BPMS talks using WS
standards to a Celtix router which converts to the other formats, but this is

I know that Iona are now able to package Active BPEL in their commercail ESB,
but I don't know if it overcomes this issue.

Please let me know if I've got this wrong.

Hi Pandu,

Did Domenico's suggestion below help you with your TomCat issue?
Im attaching a paper to answer your question on ActiveBPEL. The doc refers
to Celtix milestone 4 release however please use the latest Celtix 1.0 GA

Ive deployed Celtix into the Glassfish application server rather than Jboss,
Ill have a look at the Jboss docs this afternoon and see if I can help you
with your Jboss question.

Hi Pandu

For a client to access the installed and running service you need to use the
IP address of the servlet container. The URL supplied in the WSDL does not
apply here. So if your JBoss/Tomcat runs a localhost:9090, you type:
http://localhost:9090/<folderWhereApplicationIsStoredInYourContainer>. Is
this what you were looking for?
