cooperation opportunity with South East Asia

Dear all,

We are setting up a European project proposal (Asia Invest programme) 
which target matchmaking
between european companies and South East Asian companies.

The objectives of the projects are the following:
- support asian SMEs to seize business opportunities arising from open 
source software development
- develop business partnerships between software players in Asia and 
Europe and foster regional
networking

The outline of the project is basically the following:

1) select a set of companies in South East Asia with interest in 
identified technical domains such as J2EE,
web portal, SOA, Corba, etc
2) identify corresponding open source projects
3) link the asian companies to EU companies involved in the open source 
projects
4) support the EU companies to provide training sessions and define 
cooperation plan with the
asian companies on the open source projects  (we will provide funding 
for travel and training sessions)
5) involve the asian companies in the international open source 
community by contributing to the
project according to the cooperation plan
6) organize a serie of workshops in Asia addressing legal issues, 
business models, etc for a better
understanding of constraints and opportunities

We are currently selecting the participating asian companies. (at least 
10 SMEs)
Our goal is to have a project with mutal benefits for both european and 
asian companies so
**we are very interested in your feedback and would like to know whether 
your company would be
interested in getting involved in a cooperation with asian companies 
and/or what kind of activity
would be valuable for you ? 

Due to the time constraint for setting up the proposal we would really 
apreciate if we could gather
