Hi, I am a little bit confused: Where is the problem? - we want to have a platform to publish articles - we have identified free software which can support this - we have people who might want to write articles- There already is an objectweb.org site in the web. Why don't we use/enhance this one? If it is a problem of hardware and network capacity, I would sponsor a part of my webserver.
What do you think? Kind regards, Guido Lüttgens TRIANIT +49-163-8742648Am 28.04.2006, 17:01 Uhr, schrieb Stéphane TRAUMAT"" <stephane.traumat@xxxxxxxxx>:
Hello, Well... I'm not sure author is the biggest problem. Everyone who participates to some open source projects wants/needs to promote them.Except some million dollars, I don't know a better way to promote somethingthan writing an article about it :) If everybody in charge of an objectweb project writes an article, it will make quite a lot of articles and I'm sure it will produce lots of feedbacks/download/interest/light... Some "publication system" like docuwiki makes it very easy to write technical articles (it manages source code, table, images...) and you canadd a community web site like linuxfr.org (their system is open source andcan be reused) Stéphane 2006/4/28, Guillaume Sauthier <Guillaume.Sauthier@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>:Hi Stephane That's a good idea, but I think we miss some authors :'( Even if we have a nice web site for article publication, if we don't have any content, it will be useless. Maybe we could start to publish articles to some known online web site : * developerWorks * jax magazine (web services centred) * does o'reilly have a site with published articles ?
