Forge site</a>.
+ The name of the binary files contains the
JOnAS version and the JDK version used for the compilation. For example the
file <code>cow_v0.1_jonas4.3.3_jdk1.5.zip</code> is the version 0.1 of COW
for JOnAS 4.3.3 running with a JDK 1.5.
+ In order to install COW binary, the following
tools are needed:

binary version)</li>
+ <li>Ant 1.6 or superior</li>
+ <li>JOnAS with Tomcat or Jetty (jonas version

+ <p>
+ More information for installing these tools

+ When configuring the database properties
(e.g. PostgreSQL or MySQL), the <code>datasource.name</code> must be
<code>COW-DS</code>.<br/>
+ A typical example for PostgreSQL could be as
follow:<br/>

COW-DS</code><br/>

jdbc:postgresql://localhost:5432/cow_install?charset=LATIN1</code><br/>
+ <code>datasource.classname

+ First, stop JOnAS if it was running.<br/>
+ Untar the COW binary: <code>tar -xzvf
cow_v0.1_jonas4.3.3_jdk1.5.tar.gz"</code><br/>
+ Go in the COW directory: <code>cd
cow_v0.1_jonas4.3.3_jdk1.5</code><br/>
+ Run <code>ant install</code> if you want to
have the cow.ear in <code>$JONAS_ROOT/apps</code> or run <code>ant
install_autoload</code> if you want to have the cow.ear in
<code>$JONAS_ROOT/apps/autoload</code>.<br/>
+ Ant will ask you where to find the jonas
directory (default is /usr/local/jonas).<br/>
+ Then, some libs will be add in
<code>$JONAS_ROOT/lib/ext</code> and the axis.jar of JOnAS will be replace
with a more recent version.
+ It's all. Now, you have installed COW and you
can restart JOnAS.

+ If you have chosen to install COW in
<code>$JONAS_ROOT/apps/autoload</code> then the COW deployment will be
automatic for each restart of JOnAS.
+ Otherwise you have to deploy manually cow.ear
by using the command <code>jonas admin -a cow.ear</code>
+ </p>
+ <p>
+ In all the cases, if you want to use the web
services interfaces of COW (SOAP/WSDL), you have to manually deploy the
services by using the ant target named <code>deploy-ws</code>.
+ By default, it supposes that the web server
running at port 9000. If this not the case, you have to change the value
directly in the <code>build.xml</code> file.
