We're trying to setup Apache/Enhydra Director/Enhydra in our production environment and running into a little problem. Before I go too deep into it, I thought I'd ping the list: We have many web server instances running on each web server, all using the same IP address. We have a Big/IP box mapping requests for different names to one IP address on the backend with web servers running on different ports. The web server we are having trouble with is on port 10000. So, when a request is made for (e.g.) http://www.blah.com, it's really hitting something like 192.168.0.1:10000 behind the scenes. For static pages, this is working fine. The problem comes when my Enhydra applications send redirects (e.g. from a servlet to a JSP for presentation). The Enhydra server is aware of the web server's port number and is explicitly adding it to the redirect location. Unfortunately, http://www.blah.com:10000 isn't valid, so nothing works at that point. In the Apache httpd.conf, you can set UseCanonicalNames to "off". This will cause redirects to assume the host and port that was sent in the request header. Is there an equivalent for Enhydra? Thanks in advance, Chad Fowler __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Send instant messages & get email alerts with Yahoo!
