In our performance lab we have taken Enhydra demo apps and beaten them black and blue. I don't see any decay in performance over 20 hour runs under massive load. Enhydra Director allows multiple machines running the same app to be seen as one instance, thus allowing greater scalability. If need be, you could then use cisco local director on top of several instances of enhydra director. With one instance of enhydra director running on any of the certified platforms, and 7 p3 650s running multiserver (3 NT, 4 linux) I was seeing about 1 million page hits an hour without the app becoming unusable. (The Golfshop demo app uses no database). I posted details of this test to this list in the past. I could again if you can't find them. Aidan Hosler Lutris Quality Test Engineering.
