What's new in release 5.1-7 

This chapter lists the new or updated features associated with Enhydra 5.1-7

*       Task ID: 1616 - Added new constructor to PageRedirectException with 
encoding as additional parameter.

*       Task ID: 1616 - Encoding patch is included in this version. Added new 
parameters in multiserver.conf: Encoding and EncodingParamName.

*       Task ID: 1809 - Added support for resfresh/enable/disable cache list 
of tables in CacheAdmin. 

*       Task ID: 1677 - Entray crashes if Windows is left open - bugfix for 
dialogs open too long, timer added. 

*       Task Id 1534: JavaDoc, API vs. Implementation : JavaDoc documentation 
is separated API - implementations.

*       Task Id 1186: FOP applet and FOP servlet are merged in one Enhydra 
application.

*       Task Id 1240: Copy FROM FOPapplet into different alternative 
clipboard areas - FOP applet: Separate copy items in applet menu - to another 
applet and to another application.

*       Task Id 950 - not completed: New Phonebook application that 
demonstrates possibility of accessing one Enhydra application by using soap 
protocol and http protocol.

*       Task Id 1295 - Do we have a Barracuda/Enhydra superservlet example ? 
all 4 types: Added Barracuda/Enhydra superservlet example - include 2 types 
of Barracuda integration.

*       Task Id 1622 - gnuregexp.jar and jtidy.jar added in Enhydra runtime 
version (because of XMLC deffered parsing).

*       Task Id 1541 - Octopus replaced with new 2.6.2 release.

*       Task Id 1538 - Include BINARY demo version from EnhydraDemos 5.1, 
release demos: Applications from EnhydraDemos are included as a bunary 
versions. All sources of enhydra examples (in zip file) have a structure like 
in Kelp project. Also all applications have JBuilder project files.

*       News and bugs fixing (not in Task list):

        *       All Enhydra applications now use HSQL database.

        *       In Enhydra setup added possibility of browser choosing path 
to JDK install.

        *       Updated Enhydra documentation.

        *       DiscRack example now use new parameter Server.Encoding in 
multiserver.conf. Now this example work with utf-8 charset.

        *       XMLC updated to version 2.2.5 (CVS version - date 
25.02.2004.).

        *       New windows installation features: Now windows installation 
will try to find JAVA_HOME property from registry, and if fail to find it, 
installation will try to read JAVA_HOME property from environment, and if 
nothing of this is find, user must choose java home directory.

        *       util.jar is changed to support jdk 1.3* in enhydra build and 
runtime version - This jar is used in DODS.

        *       Fixed problem with creating of databaseManager.log file - 
default log file for DODS.

        *       DODS maintenance release 5.1-7 with some bug-fixes and new 
features are included in this release.
