Re: [enhydra] Enhydra and Axis

Axis is a soap server, and enhydra is a session/webapp framework..

I think there are now components in enhydra that will do XML:RPC stuff
(similiar to soap).

essentially, these two services will operate side by side - how exactly do
you mean "work on Enhydra 5.1.x" ? ;)

if you want to "trigger" a soap request/response from inside enhydra, then
use, it will (you can control the response event).

I guess you could have the Axis "request" event access some of the
components of Enhydra, in order to utilise some pieces (like barracuda's
session repository or something) and certainly you could access DODS or
the other database components from AXIS.

hope that helps, but post some info on what you are trying to do : I've
used both enhydra (primarily barracuda, but some other enhydra components)
and Axis a bit.
