KSOAP Proxy Authentication

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to get KSOAP running on a client that is 
inside a proxy service, which requires authentication - where the requested 
service is outside the proxy. I tried adding in a, Base 64 encorded 
username:password, as a property, into the HttpConnection object (by editing 
the source code of KSOAP HttpTransport class), but it failed. 

The error said something along the lines, of the HTTP Tunnel failed. Does 
J2ME tunnel HTTP requests over some other transport? If so im wondering if 
maybe the proxy is blocking that. Authenication in this way, works for me, 
using normal J2SE, but not J2ME. Anyway, just wondering if anyone has had any 
experience, in this area.
