Well the issue here is that PostgreSQL doesn't allow "oid" column name.
I thought you were aware of that. That's why I proposed to keep the
default objectid column name "objectid".

With the Enhydra 6.x this gets resolved automagically, if I understand
you correctly, so maybe you don't want to bother with that (apart from
documenting that dods-runtime.jar loaded by multiserver will make it
impossible to configure the objectid differently for each application).
