JOnAS-Tomcat version for EE 6.x

Hello Slobodan,

sorry for the very late answer...

I tried to do what you said with JOnAS-Tomcat 4.1.4 but
I failed. JOnAS-Tomcat 4.1.4 changed the directory structure
of the lib, so that I cannot run the enhydra "configure" ant
file...

Is there any plan to update to JOnAS 4.1.4 for EE 6.x soon?
As I said JOnAS 4.1.2 has still a lot of bugs... :-(

Hi,

For runtime usage, all enhydra components are placed in 'lib/ext/enhydra'
directory (including enhydra service providers implementation). Basically,
it should work for newer version of JOnAS-Tomcat also (it works for 4.1.2
version).

NOTE: It is recommended to additionally configure 'Carol' - to enable proper
integration and initialization of Enhydra (JNDI) Service Providers. Service
providers enable reading of 'conf' and 'web.xml' file parameters. To
configure 'Carol' just edit '<JONAS_ROOT>/conf/carol.properties' file - for
additional configuration you should check out corresponding configuration
file from Enhydra-Enterprise and/or enhydra documentation
(<Enhydra_Root>/multiserver/enhydra/doc/configuration/configuration.html).

Beside this Enhydra Enterprise Runtime does a lot of JOnAS configuration
tuning (reconfiguration of JOnAS logging, services configuration, porting,
etc) but none of this should be of major significance to basic EAF usage.

Development features require far more additional files and configuration.
