Hi,

It seems that you have ANT version collision!

Have you, by any chance, put some older version of ANT in existing Enhydra
Enterprise installation (maybe to be loaded by JOnAS commons class loader
(e.g. in 'multiserver/lib/ext' directory)) or in environment CLASSPATH
property?

This way 'Javac' taskdef implementation would be picked up from older ANT
version instead ANT 1.6.2 integrated in JOnAS (placed in
'multiserver/lib/catalina/common/lib')!

Ant's Javac taskdef is used by Jasper during JSP (re)compilation process and
'setTempdir()' method is not present in older ANT implementations.
