Hi Petr,
Unfortunately, Enhydra 5.3-1 isn't Java 5 compatible. It is based on older
Tomcat version which isn't Java 5 compatible although integrated XMLC and
DODS are.
EAF itself is Java 1.5 compatible so if you are planning to move to Java 1.5
I suggest to use Enhydra 6.3-1. Potential problems should be experienced
only with PhoneBookClient (Axis 'enum' package issue) and XalanDoc (Xalan
packaging issue) enhydra demo applications which will be resolved in next
(6.3-2) Enhydra Demos release.

I am wondering - if you mention this Java 5 compatibility in DODS, and I
know XMLC guys hacked it a bit to be Java 5 compatible as well - does it
mean that the Enhydra 5.3-1 is Java 5 compatible as a whole? Or is
something still missing?
Petr
