If I start from package explorer then Working directory is indeed
prefilled but with a wrong value! It contains path to eclipse home and
catalina fails at startup with the NPE.

It's clear that I don't know Tomcat.

I will as soon as it's unshaded and allows me to add the source path.
Aha, I have to uncheck "search in default paths". Will have to play with
this a bit more.
