Hi,

JaWE currently uses batik to generate SVGs.
Maybe you could look at SaveAsSVG.java class to see if something can be done 
(we currently have no resources to work on this).
If you have an idea how to improve it, please do not hesitate to do it - 
we'll gladly include it in JaWE.
