ObjectWeb Newsletter #9 - ObjectWebCon '05 / Best Use Cases Awards / General Assembly & Elections

ObjectWeb Newsletter - Issue # 9
Online version: http://wiki.objectweb.org/Wiki.jsp?page=NewsLetter9

Season's Greetings

On behalf of ObjectWeb officers, we wish you a happy and successful
year 2005. Last year has been very busy and productive for the
ObjectWeb community. The launch of JOnAS certification process, the
begining of a new ESB initiative, the success of Eclipse Web Tools
Platform proposal, the consortium expansion in the US and Asia, have
been major milestones amongst many other achievements -- just too
   numerous to be listed.

Although the begining of the year is time of happiness and hope, we
are all aware of the tragedy that happened in South-Asia. Many in the
community may know people who were directly or indirectly affected by
this terrible natural disaster. We here express our support and
   sympathy to them all.

Our toughts especially go to Denis Caromel, member of ObjectWeb
College of Architect, professor with INRIA, who was for work in Sri
Lanka with his family. He now is at the hospital and his closest
relatives are missing. Please circulate the following information to
any person or organization that may help locate them:
