Hi,

this JavaClassToolAgent is an example (although it can be successfully used 
for some use cases). We were planning to provide more
powerfull tool agent that would call any method on any Java class, but had no 
time to do it.
You could writte your own tool agent that would match your use case (it is 
not hard to do), and if it is general enough maybe you
can contribute it to shark.
