OK everyone (there's not many of you)- I know this project has only existed for a few days, but I'm changing the name of it (yes, already). I've been told, correctly, that binding is simply too boring and mundane a name ;-) So, I've come up with something a little more creative, and hopefully cooler. The project will be changed over to (in the next day or so): zeus.enhydra.org While it may not seem that Zeus has much relevance to data binding, you are probably thinking too mythologically. In addition to being the top dog in Greek god-land, Zeus has another (cooler) meaning. Zeus Faber is the name of a deep sea fish that changes its color to match its surroundings. It thereby can both defend itself, and attack others, by fitting in with where it is, rather than being confined to areas where its static color matches up. Sort of fits in with data binding, huh? And, the even cooler part is that astute X-Files watchers (like me) will recall that the Zeus Faber was the name of the submarine that carries in the black oil to everyone else in the world. In a sense, Zeus was the beginning of the whole X-Files mythos. So I like the name, and since I'm king for a day, I'm using it ;-) If you are already subscribed to binding@xxxxxxxxxxx, you don't have to do anything. Your subscription will be changed over. If I've copied you specifically, hop on-board. And stay tuned today, as I plan to outline what we're going to be doing, and involvement will be welcome. So thanks... -Brett ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send email to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxx with the text "unsubscribe binding" in the body of the email.
