I think I might be best put to work initially if you define some
interfaces with inputs and output. From that I should be able to add
some functionality and the testing framework. I can also do some make
scripts. I've heard some good things about Ant, but haven't used
it. Do you: 
        a) not want make files 
        b) make is OK 
        c) Ant only
